James Franco: Not my Fault

Critics have panned Your Highness and many have blamed James Franco for the way it turned out. Having won an Oscar, Natalie Portman of course, is too hot to touch. But Franco is in Planet of the Apes this summer and that looks spectacular. 

Frankly Franco

James Franco, whose father is of Swedish and Portuguese descent, who could clearly pass off as a client at an immigration lawyer’s office, lashed out at critics who disliked the actor in the movie. James said that he didn’t write the movie and that he was just doing his job. The criticism follows James’ performance at the Oscars, which was widely acknowledged, in one word, as “poor”. But again, he did not want to be there anyways so why did they ask him?

Just Backlash

James has said that they knew there were problems with the movie a year ago. He has also said that it seems like a backlash to the poor Oscar performance. Come on now, didn’t your Stanford-educated parents tell you how to deal with criticism gracefully James? He should not have accepted the movie if it was pathetically written that is for sure. Incidentally, many students from Stanford are from around the world and need immigration lawyers once they graduate, as they end up working for organisations or companies in the United States.

Gets Worse

If he hates the critics so much, Franco should perhaps consider reverse immigration and move to the U.K. Many immigration lawyers would be willing to help him out at the mere mention of it! James should not be going through a rough phase because he does have a potential winner in Planet of the Apes that arrives this summer. But perhaps he should learn how to take criticism more gracefully. Even so, Portman was in the movie as well and she did not look so stellar.

Surprise, Surprise: Kristin Cavallari and Jay Culter Split

Just days after tabloids reported that Cavallari’s boyfriend Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler, showed no interest whatsoever in Kristin when she walked down the ramp in a glass bikini, fresh reports announce that the couple has split. That is quite hilarious. Many people wonder why he was not interested in her. Perhaps there was a more attractive girl who walked down the runway the moment before?

Who Dumped Whom?

As though it matters, reports that mention the split have made it a point to announce specifically that Cavallari was dumped. Kristin, although of Italian heritage, is not the classic Italian beauty. She has said in the past that her favorite show was Jersey Shore, based on Italian Americans. Millions of Italians have immigrated to America, and they have been coming to this indebted country long before immigration lawyers existed. Cavallari though, is American through and through. She became famous when her VH1 reality show Lacuna Beach, a predecessor to The Hills, became a hit.

Wedding is Off

Turns out the Cavallari and fiancé Cutler had set a date for their wedding too. People marry for reasons other than love; for money, fame, and as it frequently happens, even for citizenship, as immigration lawyers will admit. Maybe Cutler was certain that he wanted to marry for love but was no longer in love with fiancé Kristin.

Life is Tough at Times

Reportedly, Kristin is devastated. A source close to her has revealed to People that she had set the wedding date, location, and made the pertinent plans. Not all dreams come true Kristin. Sometimes, immigration lawyers have no choice but to tell people they have to go back to their country, doctors have to tell their patients that they can’t play a sport they love, and Culter had to tell his fiancé that it was over!

Zen: This Summer on PBS

Detective show Zen, starring Rufus Sewell will soon premier on PBS. Based in Rome, in the late 60s, Zen seems to have a lot of offer. But does it fulfill its promise?

No-so-Zen Preview

A preview of the PBS show was made available and all the mystery fans, along with TV critics were eager to catch. Needless to say, reviews soon began to appear online. Zen is an ancient Chinese Buddhist concept. Chinese, as immigration lawyers, can be forthright with the information that the Chinese are one the largest immigrant groups in the U.S. Although names like Zen, the PBS show has little to do with China. The show is an Italian mystery series. And let us just say the reviews of the previews are no so…Zen. Those who caught the preview say that the show needed a stronger main character and also the plots seem to be anemic, lacking any vigor.

Going Wrong

Despite having Rufus Sewell in the lead, the creators haven’t managed to create a character that instantly connects with the audiences. Say, like Dexter on Dexter or Dennis Leary as Tommy Gavin on Rescue Me. The former show has a prominent Mexican and Puerto Rican as lead detectives, offering any viewer a glimpse of how some immigrants have risen to positions of authority in America. In addition, their accents are quite noticeable. The various accents on the show, from Puerto Rican to Floridian (the show is set in Miami), can make you wonder how immigration lawyers get used to the accents of their various clients.

Dealing with People

The show, Zen, by the way, has Italian accents. The lead detective, Zeno, shortened to Zen, hails from Venice. Many immigration lawyers help immigrants from Italy move to America. Immigrants from that country have been coming to America since the later 18th century and earlier.

Congratulations to Donald Trump who becomes a granddad, third time around. Tweeting from NYC, Ivanka announced that she was soon to be a mother.

A Talented Daughter

Ivanka has made her father proud by dabbling in a number of fields, mostly entertainment and lifestyle. She has been a model, a jewelry designe,r and has also appeared as a judge on her father’s TV show The Apprentice. Now, mother can be added to the list of her titles. Ivanka is the daughter of Trump’s first marriage with a Czech Olympian, who must have needed the assistance of immigration lawyers to move and work in the United States. Although, after marrying a powerful man like Donald Trump, life must have been easy, at least, in terms of material comforts.

Another Trump daughter comes into the world, as Ivanka and her normal looking husband Jared Kushner welcomed a girl into the world. They tweeted that she was beautiful and healthy but didn’t reveal a name. Ivanka and Jared Kushner are one of New York’s most well-known couples. NYC is a city full of immigrants and they keep the immigration lawyers of the city, especially busy. In this vibrant and multi-ethnic city, the newspaper New York Observer is widely read and it is owned Jared Kushner. That is amazing, people are still reading newspapers.

Family Fortune

As the son-in-law of a real estate mogul and the owners of the newspaper, Jared Kushner does hold a position of great power and responsibility, despite newspaper clout falling by the wayside as the Internet becomes a dominant force. Many powerful people in New York have been immigrants, who’ve moved to the country with the assistance of immigration lawyers. Many of them are first generation immigrants who come to the country as students, climb up the corporate ladder and become CEOs and CFOs. Although, Donald Trump is a third-generation German immigrant and many people wish he was the president right now. Perhaps Americans would then have a job to go to.
